Oculus Pentacam machine connected to a computer

Oculus Pentacam HR

This device is the gold standard in anterior segment tomography and corneal surface topography. The Pentacam® HR takes precise measurements of the curvature and shape of the cornea as well as a corneal tissue thickness measurement in microns. A micron is one millionth of a meter. For size comparison a human hair is 75 microns and a red blood cell is 5 microns across. With its brighter and optimized optics the Pentacam HR offers brilliant image quality. The resolution of its images are five times that of previous Pentacam models.

iDesign Refractive Studio machine

iDesign Refractive Studio

This sophisticated scan is 25 times more precise than standard measurements and analyzes over 1200 data points to allow your surgeon to visualize not only common vision problems but also your eye’s unique imperfections. These measurements help your LASIK surgeon further customize your treatment and allows us to make sure your LASIK procedure produces only the best results. You should also feel safe knowing that pilots & astronauts alike are now using the same laser vision correction technology that you will receive.

iFS Intralase Laser machine

iFS Intralase Laser

This advanced FDA approved cool temperature laser is used to create an ultra-thin hinged flap in the cornea for LASIK treatment. Treatment is completed in less than 20 seconds per eye. CS LASIK Institute only offers the all-laser LASIK method to all patients.

VISX S4 IR Excimer Laser

This advanced FDA approved cool temperature laser is used to gently reshape the cornea to treat myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness) and astigmatism. Most treatments are completed in less than 60 seconds per eye depending on the amount of prescription needing treatment. The IR (iris registration) technology allows the laser to pinpoint unique landmarks on the colored part of the eye in order to maintain exact centration of your laser treatment even if the eye deviates slightly from the fixation light.
